Hello,

To start off, I have struggled with my weight since about the 4th grade.  I started to get "jigglely" when puberty hit me in the 4th grade.  I was one who never really thought about weight until my clothes didn't fit right or the size kept getting bigger and bigger.  

I took a bit of control before my senior year in high school. I'm not sure what I weighed, but maybe 150 pounds at 5 feet tall.  I lost 40 pounds for graduation in 1982.  My mom and I took this journey together.  Then a lot of it came back after a trip to Spain for graduation.  

Then I went away to college in 1985 and gained a lot of weight by not eating right or exercising.  I lost weight again to get into my wedding dress in 1988.  Had a job where I sat most of the day and still not eating right.

Then children came in 1991 and 1997.  This of course meant more weight and still not eating right.  I know what I have to do get the weight off.  Keeping it off is the part that I need to work on.  I will try again and I will succeed with the help of my family and friends.  

I know that I need to do this for me and no one else.  Here is to a healthy and energized life with less of me in it.
